FastSwitch: SwitchModule nominated for the Pro-motor Award 2026

The SwitchModule from FastSwitch has been nominated for the Pro-motor Award 2026! This prize is awarded annually by Katapult and the LLO Katalysator. It puts the spotlight on the most impactful and innovative collaborations between education and business (public-private partnerships) that connect learning and working in new ways. As technology partner, Floow.ai is extremely proud of the module's nomination.

In 2026 the Pro-motor Award is entirely dedicated to 'the agile working practice'. The nominated SwitchModule is a powerful initiative from a broad consortium of universities of applied sciences (including HAN, Hogeschool van Amsterdam, Saxion, Fontys and Hogeschool Utrecht). Through a flexible, digitally supported pathway, highly educated career-switchers can prepare quickly and sustainably for a meaningful career in care.

The nomination is a fantastic recognition for all thirteen affiliated universities of applied sciences and the driving forces behind FastSwitch. On 24 September 2026 the independent jury will announce the winners.

What are FastSwitch and the SwitchModule again?

FastSwitch is the national programme in which 13 universities of applied sciences work together to train career-switchers into higher-professional nurses at an accelerated pace. More than 850 switchers across the Netherlands are already making use of it. Within that programme, the specially developed SwitchModule (currently running in Amsterdam, Nijmegen and Zwolle) helps potential switchers discover in an accessible way whether care really suits them.

With Floow.ai we bring the participants from the different schools together in one central app for this module. The software makes it easy for students and teachers to collaborate, without complicated IT systems or regulations getting in the way.
