Under a bright sun at Burgers' Zoo in Arnhem, the LLO Congress (Leven Lang Ontwikkelen — lifelong development) recently took place. Floow.ai attended as a proud sponsor to contribute to the conversation about the future of training from a technology perspective. The tone of the day was set immediately by keynote speaker Marian Thunnissen, who stressed that the employer's need should always be central, rather than the existing training offer.
Diane Paauwe (Talland College) and Sanne Visser-Luiten (Calidus) showed that this vision works excellently in practice. In their well-attended session they presented how they use Floow.ai to achieve it — with success: at Calidus it has already doubled intake and reduced outflow of care staff. This successful approach is now being rolled out across the whole Noord-Holland region and serves as inspiration for other regions in the Netherlands.
Floow.ai also hosted a session on technology as an accelerator for lifelong development. A lively discussion arose with educators and employers about how smart software can remove the barriers to workplace learning. The turnout and the sharp questions from the room showed how current and urgent this theme is.
